Gypsum board production line configuration description:

The gypsum board production line uses a high level of automation to ensure stable quality and reduce labor intensity.

Automation degree: The electrical control is PLC program control, and the motor is installed with variable frequency speed regulation. The degree of automation has reached the first-class level in the Chinese industry.

Batching system: All kinds of raw materials are automatically metered, one-key start, central control, and the proportion of various raw materials is automatically adjusted.

Paper supply system: The most advanced paper supply system in the Chinese industry is adopted. The deviation correction machine is electronically controlled automatically to ensure that the protective paper does not deviate, and the scoring machine scores according to the thickness required by the product.

Forming machine: a new type of sink-type free-hand-operated forming machine is adopted. Solidified belt: produced by a German wholly-owned factory, the first-class product in China's industry. Width 1350MM × thickness 14MM.

Drying system: reasonable structure, energy saving, automatic temperature control (accurate to ±1°C), automatic adjustment of anti-bias, and good thermal insulation effect.

Automatic head and palletizing system: automatic head, automatic palletizing, automatic packaging (buyer chooses whether to bring a baler), the degree of automation is high, and unmanned operation can be achieved.

Environmental protection:

Emission standards meet China's domestic industry standards. All dust collection points are equipped with dust collectors to ensure that the site meets the emission requirement.

Gypsum board production line process

The gypsum board manufacturing process can be divided into 5 steps: batching section, forming, drying, cutting & sealing, stacking & packing.

1.Batching section

The material in the silo is transported by horizontal and vertical conveying equipment and sent to the belt scale by the rigid impeller feeder. The excess material is sent back to the silo by the conveyor, elevator and other conveying equipment. Construction gypsum, modified starch, coagulant, glass fiber (used in the production of waterproof paper faced gypsum board, fire-resistant paper faced gypsum board) and other raw materials were measured respectively, then mixed in the screw mixer and continuously sent to the vertical mixer. The foaming agent is added to the storage tank. During use, the foaming agent and water are pumped to the foaming device by the metering pump respectively, and compressed air is injected to produce stable foam, which is then fed into the vertical mixer. After the adhesive is matched in the tank, it is sent to the spray nozzle on both sides , and the tape is sprayed on both sides of the upper paper of the gypsum board. The upper and lower paper is transported to the paper rack by electric hoist.

2. Forming section

The lower paper by paper storage machine, tensioning device, scoring, position adjuster to the forming machine, gypsum slurry from the vertical mixer flow to the lower paper. The upper paper is sent to the forming after passing through the paper storage machine, tensioning device, position adjuster and adhesive. The forming machine is plate type with adjustable thickness. The forming machine collects the upper paper, lower paper and gypsum pulp and squeezes them into boards of specified thickness. The formed gypsum board is sent to the cutting machine by setting belt machine and conveying roller to be cut off in accordance with the set length,Then it is sent to the 1 cross conveyor by the accelerating roller , and then to the dryer.

3. Drying section

Gypsum board by the bridge type distributor according to the program into the dryer each layer, according to the capacity and different heat source, dryer divided into two zones, three zones, four zones. Paper faced gypsum board in the dryer slowly forward, and the longitudinal flow of hot air for continuous heat exchange, board absorb heat, temperature rise, free water in the board slowly evaporate, but do not destroy the crystal water of CaSO4•2H2O. When the gypsum board out of the dryer, its water content should be less than 1%. After drying, through the cooling section of the dryer, and then out of the dryer in an orderly way.

4.Cutting edge and stacking section

The gypsum board is transported by the roller conveyor, the 2 cross conveyor and the face to face machine are sent to the edge cutter machine, precise to the required size, and the finished board are sent to the stacker by the roller conveyor, and then sent to the finished products warehouse by the forklift for storage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Is the 20 million m² capacity based on 12.5 mm board?

Yes. The published capacity is based on 12.5 mm board and the stated operating schedule. Production of other thicknesses changes material consumption, dryer load and actual square-meter output.

Q:Can the same line produce 9.5 mm, 12.5 mm and 15 mm boards?

The line supports a 7–15 mm published thickness range. Forming settings, paper scoring, line speed and dryer conditions must be adjusted when the thickness changes.

Q:Can it produce moisture-resistant and fire-resistant gypsum boards?

The line can be configured for different formulations. Moisture-resistant and fire-resistant products require suitable facing paper, dedicated additives and controlled dosing.

Q:Can we use desulfurized gypsum or phosphogypsum?

The suitability depends on purity, moisture, particle size, soluble impurities and setting behaviour. Raw-material reports or representative samples should be evaluated before the process configuration is finalized.

Q:Which fuel should we choose for the dryer?

The decision should be based on local availability, fuel price, heating value, emission requirements and control accuracy. Natural gas usually simplifies temperature control, while coal requires more fuel handling and environmental equipment.

Q:Is the gypsum powder preparation section included?
