From raw gypsum to board-making powder
Calcination is the heating stage of a gypsum powder plant. The overall supply scope can also include crushing, milling, classification, cooling, aging, storage and packing. Confirm which of these stages is required for your feedstock.
Feedstock and process selection
The published natural-gypsum example should not be applied automatically to wet or industrial gypsum. Provide a material report, available moisture data and the powder properties required by the downstream customer.
Connect the powder plant to the board factory
Identify the required buffer storage and responsibility for delivering qualified powder. Powder-plant output in tonnes and board-line output in square metres describe different products; their relationship requires a material balance for the selected board formulation.
