WUXING PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT
XPS Foam Board Machine
Extrusion equipment for manufacturing XPS foam insulation boards used in building insulation and temperature-controlled construction.
- Continuous extrusion process
- Board thickness and size configuration
- Production planning for insulation applications
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Continuous extrusion for closed-cell insulation boards
An XPS line combines polystyrene resin, additives and a blowing agent to produce a continuous insulation board. The material is melted, foamed, shaped and cooled before cutting. The finished closed-cell structure is used in roof, wall, foundation and cold-storage insulation applications.

Production flow
Material feeding → Extrusion and foaming → Cooling → Cutting → Handling
Equipment across the production line
The process brings together metered feeding, melt processing, blowing-agent injection, die forming, cooling, lengthwise cutting, edge finishing, stacking and film wrapping. Each section must be sized for the board format being manufactured.
Match the finishing equipment to your market
Grooved surfaces, shiplap edges and tongue-and-groove profiles require selected downstream equipment. Recycled polystyrene can be evaluated subject to cleanliness and product requirements. Cooling-water conditions also affect stable production.
Specify the product before the machine
Prepare a product schedule showing the width, thickness, length and density required for each grade. Include the surface and edge profile, packing format and desired output. Ask which settings or tooling need to change between grades and whether those changes are included in the proposed scope.
Agree a measurable handover
Request a quotation that names the supplied equipment and the finished-board tests used during acceptance. Separate machinery ratings from product performance claims. This gives both parties a clear basis for assessing the proposed line and comparing alternative configurations.
Request a project proposal
Send the following details to help us understand your requirements:
- Dimensions, density and output by board grade
- Required thermal and mechanical performance
- Resin source and blowing-agent requirements
- Surface profile, edge machining and packaging

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of this production line?
Price is quoted for the agreed equipment scope, automation, installation support and delivery terms. No fixed price is published. Send your product specification and site information for an itemized quotation.
What is the power consumption?
Installed power and operating consumption must be confirmed in the technical offer. Ask for both the connected load in kW and estimated energy use per unit of finished product, including auxiliaries.
Is the layout drawing ready for construction?
No. The drawing is a conceptual process layout, not to scale. Foundations, clearances, utilities and equipment dimensions require a project-specific engineering drawing.
How do I request a quotation?
Send the intended product dimensions, target output, raw-material details, factory drawing and available utilities to sales@gypsumboardmachinery.com.
